Borders 10-20-2001

Back in the late nineties early 2000's my wife JJ and I went to play as JJ Slim.  JJ Slim is the moniker my wife chose as the harmonica player in our two piece band.  

We would play Borders bookstores and Diedrich coffeehouse here in Southern California from LA to San Diego.  Here is one of those epic performances.

The recording quality is what you would expect from a portable recorder of the time.  The crowd noise can be heard.  Still the performances were amazing.

We only performed my original music.

The first song Guitar Man is Bluesy and Jazz with harmonica solos, guitar solos and scat singing.
