One day I met a traveler it was late afternoon

He asked directions on the road of life

I told him it was just around the bend

it was easy to get there,

he asked should he turn to the left or turn to the right

I told him not to listen to the salesman on the left

No matter what he tries to tell you

Even if he says its much shorter that way

You'll end up traveling for a lifetime come back here again one day.

So listen carefully now to what I say

There's gonna be some folks who'll need your help along the way
